W Hotel is the largest beachfront resort in the Seminyak area. Recently opened in 2011, it brings with it the classic "hip-ness" of the W to Seminyak. It offers mainly hotel rooms and a couple of private villas. The two most popular F&B Outlets in W are Starfish Bloo ( which offers an amazing Sunday Champagne Brunch ) and Woo Bar ( located beachfront ). Even if you do not stay at W, it is well worth to come here for drinks at Woo Bar. The rooms at W are typical W style - funky.
In recent months, the room rates has been raised ridiculously high. Sometimes, even the cheapest room can be USD$400! Many tourist now choose to stay in other Villa Hotels where for the same price, you can get your own private villa ( with living room, private pool and sometimes even butler services ). If you like a bog crowd, stay at W. If you would like some peace and romance, stay in other villas in Seminyak.
