Kudeta has been the premier establishment in Bali for the past 10 years, and still going strong. Only recently did it receive some competition from the newly opened Potato Head, but nevertheless, Kudeta will always have a special place in Bali.
Located right in the heart of Seminyak, Kudeta boats one of the best sunsets in Bali. ( the best time if to is obviously at sunset ). Try to book on of the beds facing the beach if possible. It has a small lawn with DJs playing most of the day. Cocktails are great here, and is definitely the place to be seen. Kudeta also has an Italian restaurants near the entrance, great good.
In August, people travel from all over the world to attend Kudeta's summer parties which has not achieved a cult-like following. The three biggest parties are the White Party, Bikini Party and the Anniversary Party. Held in consequetive weekends, these parties can hold up to 2000 people, with entrance fees up to USD$100, but well worth every penny! Spectacular stage-sets and performers are staged for this extravaganza, not to be missed.
